Sydney Sweeney had been in a “seven and a half years” relationship with Davino before they split in March 2025.
The Euphoria actress reflected on her key relationship in the past. Sweeney started dating Davino in 2018 and announced their engagement in 2022. They called off their engagement after seven years of being together.
Sweeney has been silent about their relationship in previous interviews. However, recently, in a cover interview with Cosmopolitan this week, the White Lotus star candidly reflected on her love life.
"I was in a relationship for a very long time, for seven and a half years, and I never talked about it," Sweeney explained to the outlet, and the clip went viral.
The SAG award-winning actress added that she maintained privacy in their relationship so that no one would ever see them. She did so because she believes that some things should be kept to herself.
“I understand that I’m a public person, but I’m still in my 20s,” she continued. “I’m still figuring out love, and it’s hard to do that with millions of people who have their own opinions of what that looks like.”

She revealed that she had spent her entire twenties focused on her work, but now she wanted to embrace life and its experiences.
“But it’s hard deciding that I want to experience love in the public eye. I’m just navigating it all," Sweeney asserted.
