Sydney Sweeney reveals younger brother deployed overseas, thanks troops

Sydney Sweeney is sending well wishes for U.S. troops in Iran, revealing that her brother has been deployed.

The actress posted on her Instagram story on Wednesday, telling troops, “Thank you for service.”

Sweeney revealed that her younger brother, Trent Sweeney, was one of the troops deployed overseas.

“Receiving calls from my bro always makes me happy when he’s deployed,” she wrote.

“Thinking of all our boys and girls overseas and sending my love! Thank you for your service :)” the “Anyone But You” star added, alongside a screenshot of her and her brother speaking.

Trent Sweeney is in the Air Force, having served in the munitions squadron in 2020 until he got promoted to staff sergeant last year, according to the New York Post.
