Jason Momoa Responds to Lobo Speculation Over His Dream DCU Project

Aquaman star Jason Momoa responds to the Lobo enterprises following his cryptic DCU design tease and James Gunn's nebulous social media post. Ever since Momoa teased that one of his DCU dreams is coming to consummation under Gunn and Peter Safran's DC Studios leadership, numerous have been assuming about what design it might be. Not long after Momoa made those commentary, Gunn participated an image of Lobo on his new Mastadon profile, which fueled debates that maybe the two situations are ever connected.

In a recent interview with CBR, the Aquaman actor is asked to follow up on the recent bulletins and clarify what's actually going on. When asked to" blink doubly" if Momoa's DCU dream design is indeed about Lobo, he gives a politic answer about it without definitively saying yes or no. Momoa shares the following

How Jason Momoa Could Be Both Lobo & Aquaman

While there have been no formal adverts about a Lobo DCU design, there are ways where Momoa could actually play the cherished alien bounty huntsman while continuing to star as Aquaman in the Justice League- grounded macrocosm. Over the last many times, indeed before DC Studios launched, WarnerBros. has been playing around with setting up durations that stand on their own rather than tying into the DCU. From Matt Reeves' The Batman to Todd Phillips' Joker votes, the separate film series have allowed new takes on the characters that don't discord with anything that's going on in the DCU.

Assuming that Gunn and Safran will continue to invest in votes that can live outside the DCU, Momoa could fluently star as Lobo in a standalone macrocosm. Several times agone , Michael Bay was reportedly eyed to direct a Lobo live- action movie for WarnerBros., although no movement has happed on that design since 2018. Indeed if Bay is no longer involved, DC Studios could bere-developing a Lobo design formerly again, and this time have a way where Momoa gets to play him without snooping with his Aquaman duties in the DCU.

With Lobo being a particular fave for Momoa, it would authentically be delightful if he got to portray the bounty huntsman in an independent macrocosm. It would have been a different problem if the academic Lobo design was taking place in the DCU, which is what would help Momoa from playing him while also serving as Aquaman in the same world. Outside of EmmettJ. Scanlan's depiction on SYFY's short- lived Krypton television show, which was also developing a derivation show for the character, Lobo has slightly gotten a chance to appear in live- action. Hopefully, it will not be too long until Momoa's dream DCU design gets clarified, anyhow if it's related to Lobo or not.
