The Netflix June 2025 list of new arrivals is going to heat up the summer. Of course, the most notable streaming premiere of the month is Squid Game Season 3, scheduled for June 27. The confirmed final season of the South Korean dystopian survival thriller series follows Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) through even deadlier games in his last effort to stop the cycle of violence for good. Seeing as how there’s a lot to wrap up, fans are particularly chomping at the bit to see if and how the games’ Front Man Hwang In-ho (Lee Byung-hun) and his detective brother Jun-ho (Wi Ha-Joon) will reunite. Series creator Hwang Dong-hyuk has teased an answer to that mystery and much more.
Criminal Code Season 2 is coming to Netflix on June 4, 2025. Created by Heitor Dhalia and inspired by true crimes, the Brazilian Netflix Original series follows the federal police as they track down a “Phantom Gang” of elite thieves across South American borders. Next up is Power Moves with Shaquille O’Neal, which also arrives on June 4. The Netflix documentary series follows the titular Hall of Famer as he and former basketball shooting guard Allen Iverson attempt to find the new face of the Reebok brand. Then, Taraji P. Henson (The Color Purple, Hidden Figures) is looking to rev up some thrills as a desperate mother on the edge in Tyler Perry‘s new thriller, STRAW, on June 6.
Two hilarious Netflix shows are returning this June. The first is Ginny & Georgia Season 3, premiering on June 5, 2025. Starring Brianne Howey as Georgia Miller, a traumatized 30-year-old mother who’s trying her best to protect her children, and Antonia Gentry as her 15-year-old daughter, Ginny, the series centers on the heartfelt comedy and relatable drama of their parallel journeys. Tires Season 2 makes its streaming debut on the same day. The raunchy sitcom revolves around the chaotic attempts to manage a failing automotive business by Will (Steve Gerben) and his obnoxious cousin Shane (Shane Gillis). Rounding out the cast for the second season are comedians Chris O’Connor, Kilah Fox, Stavros Halkias, and the always-great Thomas Hayden Church.
FUBAR Season 2, debuting on June 12, 2025, must be mentioned as well. The action-comedy series stars Arnold Schwarzenegger as Luke Brunner and Oscar-nominee Monica Barbaro (A Complete Unknown, Top Gun: Maverick) as his daughter Emma. When the two awkwardly find out they’re both CIA operatives, their superiors require them to work together. For animation lovers, KPop Demon Hunters is not to be missed when it hits the Netflix streaming service on June 20. The latest colorful fantasy adventure from Sony Pictures Animation (best known for creating the Spider-Verse and Hotel Transylvania franchises) features a popular K-pop trio, voiced by Arden Cho, Ahn Hyo-seop, and May Hong, moonlighting as expert demon hunters.
Another significant Netflix Original arriving this month is the documentary, Trainwreck: The Astroworld Tragedy, which covers the 2021 event where 10 people sadly lost their lives at rapper Travis Scott‘s music festival in Houston, Texas. On the topic of tragic events, the Netflix movie, Titan: The OceanGate Disaster, will be available to stream the day after, on June 11. In terms of older favorites coming to Netflix’s streaming library in June 2025, Barbarian (2022) is here to prepare audiences for Zach Cregger’s next horror film, Weapons. Fans excited for Now You See Me: Now You Don’t will be pleased to know that the first two Now You See Me movies have just been added to Netflix, too.
Lastly, a slew of Alfred Hitchcock must-see classics, including Rear Window (1954), Vertigo (1958), and The Birds (1963), are now on the streamer.
