Spider-Man Names the 3 Villains Worthy of Killing Him

While Spider- Man is Marvel's most cherished idol, keeping New York safe from a huge variety of pitfalls, there will come a time when he fights his last battle. And when that moment comes, it turns out Peter Parker has three main campaigners for the villains who are actually good of taking him down for good- those he wouldn't exactly be happy to lose to, but who he sees as a befitting end to his adventures as the Friendly Neighborhood Web- Slinger.

Spider- Man has maybe Marvel's biggest and best- loved hellions galleries, from beast- themed villains like Rhino and Scorpion to mobsters like Kingpin and Hammerhead and alien pitfalls like Venom and Gog. Some- like Will o' the Wisp and Hypno- Hustler- go forgotten by all but the most deep addict, while others- like Shocker and Hobgoblin- are recreating pitfalls, but have noway beenA-list enough to truly spell the end for Spidey.

In Amazing Fantasy# 1000's' Spider- Manvs. His Sinister 60th'- from Dan Slott, Jim Cheung, Jay David Ramos, and Joe Sabino- suckers meet an aged Peter Parker who's surprisingly plugged down while trying to stop a routine swiping. As Peter lies dying in an echo of Uncle Ben's murder, he laments that he was taken down by a common road miscreant, and not the deadly adversaries who have meant the most to his career. Imagining his final battle, Spider- Man says it would have been better to be taken down by the Sinister Six, holocaust, or the Green Goblin.

The Villains Spider-Man Considers Worthy

It's an intriguing list of adversaries for Spider- Man to consider, especially in the way he describes them. Imagining fighting all of the Sinister Six at formerly, Spider- Man filmland Kraven, Electro, Sandman, shark, Mysterio, and Doctor Octopus. All of these villains have challenged him on their own- with Doctor Octopus having risen to the position of a true nemesis- so it's intriguing that they do not rate collectively. Green Goblin has worked with the Sinister Six on numerous occasions( as have numerous, numerous other villains), so it's noteworthy that he gets mentioned independently while Doc Ock doesn't. It's also worth noting that Spider- Man thinks of the Sinister Six in their original manifestation, despite several attempts to offer Sandman redemption, and Mysterio's attempts to quit the supervillain life. With foes like Lizard and Chameleon frequently working with the Six( and the ultimate being his first ever supervillain), it's clear Spidey remains deeply affected by the first time his villains teamed- up en masse.

Spider-Man 'Respects' Green Goblin & Carnage

The Green Goblin is less surprising, though it's telling that Peter simply refers to him as' the Goblin.' There are near innumerous Goblin villains, from Hobgoblin and Demogoblin to the Goblin Queen, but Norman Osborn's Green Goblin is Peter's true nemesis, having killed his first love Gwen Stacy. In the Ultimate Universe, Peter was indeed killed by a interpretation of the Sinister Six led by the Green Goblin- a death that made captions and broke suckers' hearts when it happed. holocaust is commodity of a shock addition- while the symbiote periodical killer is indeed Spider- Man's most vicious adversary, Marvel's attempts to make its symbiotes their own ballot have receded the two, and in a sense the villain is really filling in for Venom- a villain with further particular ties to Spider- Man.

Spider-Man's Strongest Villain Gets Snubbed

The most surprising villains who do not make the cut are Kingpin and Morlun. The former is one of Spider- Man's oldest and cruelest villains, but his position as Daredevil's nemesis likely keeps him off the list as a befitting end for Spidey. Morlun is the strongest foe Spider- Man has ever faced, and the central villain of his epic Spider- Verse adventures. still, his position as a fairly ultramodern foe likely disqualified him from the sixtieth anniversary homage story. Hopefully, Spider- Man will have another sixty times at least guarding the megacity he loves, but when his time does come, Peter considers the Sinister Six, the Goblin, and holocaust the villains who would give a truly befitting death.
