Superman Finally Shows Just How Much Damage His New Power Can Unleash

Superman has been flaunting a new power recently, and in the biggest show of that power yet, he one- shots Batman's superpowered Injustice platoon.

Jon Kent's new powers continue to manifest, as Superman formerly again showcases them. So far, Jon has spent the last couple of issues of Adventures of Superman stuck in the Injustice macrocosm. He meets the Clark Kent of that macrocosm, who naturally takes a relish to Jon. After all, this Clark Kent noway got to meet his son after being brainwashed into killing Lois while she was pregnant. The moment led to Clark getting a dictator, ruling over the earth as its oppressor. Jon snappily learns this fact for himself, disturbed by the verity.

Jon continues to probe this alternate macrocosm in Adventures of Superman Jon Kent# 4 by Tom Taylor, Darick Robertson, Norm Rapmund, Wes Abbott, Jordie Bellaire, and Jillian Grant. It's then that he stumbles onto ananti-Superman meeting led by Batman and Lex Luthor. They're joined by Harley Quinn, Barbara Gordon, and Catwoman. Jon investigates further but is soon pummeled by the Bat- Family. Unknown to Jon, Batman's platoon have been using a medicine manufactured by Lex made to gift superstrength and enhanced continuity to normal humans. To defend himself, Jon's powers manifest, and he's suitable to take everyone out in one go.

Superman One-Shots Batman's Injustice Team

Following the events of Batmanvs. Robin, where a stormy Lazarus Formula was unleashed upon the world and its icons , Jon Kent has begun flaunting new powers analogous to those that his father had in the 90s. generally, it's only seen in short bursts. Until now, Jon's stylish show of his power was when he faced off with Ultraman in the first issue, pounding the villain with a holy punch that left both of them unconscious.

Jon's Powers Are Impressive, Even for Superman

Going back to that moment against Ultraman, this new moment from# 4 is tutoring cult exactly how Jon's powers manifest. Both cases see Jon at an emotional peak. In# 2, Jon is frustrated as Ultraman overpowers him while saying he can not beat him unless he breaks his no- kill rule.# 4 sees Jon's powers manifest out of a moment of despair and maybe fear. Jon isn't in a place where he has full control of his powers or when they manifest( although, he seems to be perfecting, considering he did not pass out this time). still, it's getting clear that these powers are driven by his feelings.

This is also the stylish illustration of just how important these powers can be formerly he reaches his full eventuality. Superman disposing of a group of humans may not mean important to those strange with Injustice lore, but the whole point of their enhanced state is that they can go toe- to- toe with the spoiled Justice League- later each, this macrocosm was created for DC's iconic fighting game series. DC's most professed icons were just taken out all within an case of each other, despite each enjoying immense power. This goes to show off exactly what kind of damage Superman can do with his new powers.
