After Cristin Milioti debuted as Sofia Falcone in The Penguin, she very quickly became a fan favorite. Many fans are hoping that the character will make a return in the future, possibly in the upcoming film The Batman Part II, though it remains to be seen if that will ever come to be. As of now, a return hasn't been officially announced.
Per Deadline, Milioti commented on a possible appearance from Sofia in The Batman Part II while on the red carpet at the Film Independent Spirit Awards. She was asked specifically if she would want Sofia to team up Zoe Kravitz's Selina Kyle, who was introduced in the first film directed by Matt Reeves. Milioti shared how stoked she was about the idea as a big fan of Kravitz, going on to share what she ultimately hopes to see happen next with Sofia's story.
"I would love that," she said. "I love her, and I think we could get into some real sh*t. I don't know how else to say it! I think we would have a great time."
I think we would have a great time.
When asked what she'd like Sofia do next, Milioti added, "Oh my god, I mean, I would just love to see her continue to come into her power, and seek revenge."
Cristin Milioti Sees Infinite Possibilities for Sofia Falcone
"I don’t know. It just seemed like there are infinite possibilities of where she could go," Milioti also said to IndieWire in a previous interview. "Obviously I would want to see her get out of Arkham. That’s like number one. I don’t want her in there. So I want to see her get out there, and then exact revenge. Maybe now she would be even more of a loose cannon, because before it was pretty focused on him and gaining power, but depending on what happens to her in there, it could be an even larger target. I would love to explore that."
