The second season of Devil May Cry, the action-packed, adult-targeted anime series based on the hit video game, will arrive May 12, 2026 exclusively on Netflix. The streamer revealed the premiere date alongside a first image from S2 today.
Synopsis: In Season 2, a war between worlds ignites as Dante must battle the only force that mirrors his own: his estranged twin brother Vergil.
In this animated adaptation of the popular Capcom game and from the vision of Adi Shankar, sinister forces are at play to open the portal between the human and demon realms. In the middle of it all is Dante, an orphaned demon-hunter-for-hire, unaware that the fate of both worlds hangs around his neck.
Shankar (Castelvania, Castelvania: Nocturne, Captain Laserhawk) is showrunner for the series, which is animated by Studio Mir (X-Men ’97, Dota: Dragon’s Blood) in Korea.
The voice case is led by Johnny Yong Bosch as Dante, Robbie Daymond as Vergil and Scout Taylor-Compton as Lady.
